  • 1981 - the "gropies berlin" were founded
  • April 4th, 1994, a concert within the Berlin Choir Days
  • May 8th, 1994, a concert in the Kammermusiksaal
  • January 1996, some of the choir members took part in the musical "Oklahoma", performed by the music school Neukölln
  • September 15th, 1996, the choir took part in the "Singing, Jingling City" ("Singende, klingende Stadt")
  • December 1996, a concert and an own stall at "Alt-Rixdorfer christmas market"
  • February 14th, 1997, a concert within the Berlin Choir Days
  • Participation in the A-Motion Tour (Mercedes Benz) as a choir at "la fura dels baus" SYMBIOSIS
  • August 9th, 1997, an international concert at the Gendarmenmarkt (Schaustelle Berlin)
  • August 24th, 1997, a concert in Schloss Britz
  • February 1998, participated in the musical celebration of the 80th National Celebration of the Lithuanian Republic

  • May 1998, several concerts for the anniversary of the choir school Gropiusstadt

  • June 16th, 1998, commemoration ceremony of June 17, in the jail of the states security of Ex-GDR, together with Eberhard Diepgen (Lord Mayor of Berlin)
  • June 27th, 1998, 1st prize for the best all-around representation and the most dramatically concept at the choir summer in Mahlsdorf
  • June 20th, 1999, once more the 1st prize at the choir summer in Mahlsdorf. This time, for the best all-around representation including the choice of songs, intonation, and the integration of the audience
  • July 3rd and 4th, 1999, participation in the 13th All-Estonian Song Festival in Tallinn/Estonia
  • January 27th, 2000, achievement of the award for the cooperation with the choir Noortekoor Kuusalu (Estonia) sponsored by the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung, which supported this exchange within its project "Young ways in Europe"
  • July 2nd 2000, receiving the "Bach-award" at the 3rd choir summer in Mahlsdorf for the greatest interpretation of one of his pieces composed for a choir
  • September 16th - October 4th 2000, choir-trip through the north-east of the USA and through Canada. Besides the Lycoming College, Mansfield College and the University of Delaware, gropies were also singing at the renowned Yale University. Furthermore, gropies were also guests at the Delaware-Saengerbund in Newark.
  • November 7th, 2000, background music for the entry of the Estonian president Lennart Meri into the golden book of Berlin in the city hall (Rotes Rathaus) with Estonian songs.
  • March 5-7th, 2001, participation in the choir "Vocal jazz Connection Berlin" which performed the jazz composition "All Rise" by the famous American jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis in the philharmonia with the Berlin philharmonic orchestra managed by Claudio Abbado.
  • April 1st, 2001, concert in the chamber music hall (Kammermusiksaal ) of the philharmonia.
  • July 6th, 2001, awarding of the international prize for Berlin choirs for special performances according to the international understanding. This and further commendations were awarded within the scope of the event "Stimmenzauber 2001" (Voice magic 2001) under the patronage of the Federal President off duty Walter Scheel.
  • October 19th, 2001, anniversary concert 20 years gropies berlin, bestowal of the Bundesverdienstkreuz at the ribbon to Bernhard Jahn.
  • October 20th, 2001, anniversary ball 20 years gropies berlin.
  • February 18th, 2002, participation at the event "Dialog of the cultures" on the occasion of the 65th birthday of President of the Bundestag off duty Prof. Dr. Rita Süssmuth.
  • June 9th, 2002, award with the price for the best complete presentation at the 5th Mahlsdorf choir summer.
  • June 15th, 2002, concert in the St. Marien church in Bergen / Rügen island (Baltic Sea).
  • March 18th, 2003, musical adress of welcome to the Latvian president Prof. Dr. Vaira Vike Freiberga and background music for the entry into the golden book of Berlin in the city hall (Rotes Rathaus) with Latvian songs. Report with photos (only in German language).
  • 19.-23. Juni 2003, Concert in the context “Chorfest Berlin ” of the German singer federation; Cooperation at the organization of the concert “The Voice” the Open Air Stage “Waldbühne”
  • 13. Juni 2004, concert in the chamber music hall (Kammermusiksaal ) of the philharmonia.
  • 26.-29. August 2004, Participation to 5th Internationally Youth Choir festival in Kempele, Finland
  • 5.-9. Mai 2005, Participation to 5th “Harmonie Festival 2005“ in Lindenholzhausen (Competition with 120 choirs from 49 countries): Winner in the category "Jazz-vocal et cetera", extra prize awarded by the adjudicatorsfor the best stage performance, Silver in the category "Mixed choirs"
  • 24.-25. September 2005, Participation to the competetion „Berliner Chortreff“of the „Landesmusikrat Berlin“ and extra prize awarded by the audience.
  • October 21th, 2006, anniversary concert 25 years gropies berlin (more photos). Presentation of the new choir design (e.g. as seen on website in german language)
